The beginning

Hola!
After several attempts to begin this blog, several hours of soul searching, and more than three conversations about blogs, I have decided to just come right out and say it. I want to blog, I want the world wide web to read my innermost thoughts, to judge me, and hopefully find my blog worthy enough to distract from work that needs to be done.
I am preparing for my journey into the unknown, doesn't that sound dramatic. I am preparing for departure to Chile where I will be teaching English for 6 months. Here is my plea: If you have any advice, about packing, about teaching, about life, about love, about anything, I beg of you, pray tell.
